Sunshine, emotion, authenticity, and passionate voices. Together, they create a blend of modernity and tradition that brings Corsican music to life and evolves while honoring its roots. This concert transports the audience to the heart of Corsica, through the power and beauty of its polyphonies. Vox Corsica conveys to us through their songs these stories from Corsican culture: stories of love, stories of revenge, stories drawn from everyday life, which could be heard in the various “pièves” (villages/localities) of the Isle of Beauty, and whose memory the group Vox Corsica perpetuates. Their repertoire, not only drawn from their experiences and unique style, reflects the rich musical heritage of Corsica but also through Modernity and Renewal.
