LONER DEER
Loner Deer is a wandering soul, a lonely traveler whose music traces the contours of a world made of melancholy and light. Carried by a voice that whispers as much as it tears, he sculpts melodies where folk winds and country shadows meet, weaving tales of lost hearts and faraway horizons. With authenticity, Loner Deer sings the echo of tormented souls, of departures without return, of forgotten campfires, of human relationships and deep feelings, in a wilderness universe.
Discreetly, his music seduces listeners from the four corners of the globe, racking up over 50 million listens to date. His concerts offer warm, intimate performances, with a raw universe wrapped in humility. His music is a story of emotions, more to be felt than heard. It speaks to people, touches hearts, provokes smiles and tears. Her universe is a subtle blend of authenticity and sensitivity, influenced by Eddie Vedder, Jonah Kagen, Hazlett, Ray LaMontagne and The White Buffalo.
Loner Deer has always drawn its inspiration from mountains and forests, where nature is omnipresent and human relationships are strong. These themes are reflected in his debut EP ‘Brown and Blue’, released in 2020, and his album ‘The Old Pine’, released in 2022. Currently based in the heart of Alsace, Loner Deer has prepared his latest EP, ‘Great Mullein’, tinged with memories and moving texts and released in October 2025.
