The ONSLOW Quartet was formed in 2013, bringing together young graduates from the Paris, Vienna and Boston Conservatories. Entered in January 2014 in the class of the Quatuor Ysaye at the CRR de Paris, he also participates in the master-classes of ProQuartet (Paris). The Onslow Quartet is formed notably with Yovan Markovitch and Luc-Marie Aguéra (Ysaye quartet), Jean Mouillère (Via Nova quartet) during the festival of La Roche-Guyon, and Jean Sulem (Rosamonde quartet) on the occasion of the festival of Cervo (Italy) in September 2014.
Its members perform today in the greatest French orchestras (Orchestre de Paris, Orchestre de Chambre de Paris, Orchestre de l’Opéra de Rouen,…) while continuing to meet very regularly in quartet for concerts in France and abroad.
In April 2019, the Onslow Quartet receives the Grand Prix de quatuor Rotary Paris-Normandie ‘Via Nova’, awarded and presented by Jean Mouillère, first violin and founder of the Via Nova Quartet.
