This year, the Art Center of the Auberive Abbey offers an escape with different artists, pillars of the collection or newcomers, who by their artistic expressions form the very essence of the abbey collection. Among those we love, we will find Gérard Barthélémy, Nicole Bayle, Nicolás de Jesús, Sam Le Rol, Eugène Leroy, Popovitch Ljuba, Satish Multhalli, Margaux Salmi and Vladimir Vélickovic. And then we’ll pay tribute to the work of Marion Heilmann, (Leonard Lamb), who disappeared last summer.
In 2010, Bab Assalam gave his last concert in Syria at the Aleppo Citadel alongside a dozen whirling dervishes. It was a party. Then came war, massacres and exile. Between East and West, this migration music is an invitation to tolerance.
Auberive Abbey and the Art Center are open on Tuesday from 2 to 6.30 pm. and Wednesday to Sunday from 10 to 12.30 am and from 2 to 6.30 pm.

On the occasion of the exhibition “Pêle-Mêle, ceux qu’on aime”, Editions de l’abbaye d’Auberive published an exhibition catalog presenting the work of Marion Heilmann (Leonard Lamb). This artist built in absolute discretion a strong, harsh and jubilant work, both spontaneous and learned, as much marked by William Blake as by art brut. (120 pages, texts by Alexandre Bakker, 500 copies).
